Sophie Whitehead

Sophie Whitehead is a nuclear professional based in the UK with extensive experience in consultancy, project management, business development, and operations across various nuclear new build projects. After earning an MPhys (Hons) in Physics from The University of Manchester, Sophie worked at notable companies, including Atkins, where key roles included Key Client Lead and HPC Safety Case Programme Manager. They currently serve as a Senior Consultant at Arup and are actively leading preparatory activities for entry into the UK Generic Design Assessment of newcleo’s Lead-Cooled Fast Reactor technology.
