Stefan Löffel is a Structural Engineer at Arup, currently researching fire behavior in informal settlements to enhance community safety. They previously worked as a Candidate Structural Engineer at AECOM and gained valuable experience as a private tutor, helping high school and first-year engineering students. Stefan holds a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering, both from Stellenbosch University. Their early engineering experience includes various vacation student roles focused on road design, quantity surveying, and site investigations.
