Tanner Na'inoa Chee is a Senior Lighting Designer at Arup in New York City. Originally from Oahu, HI, Tanner earned a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design and Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design in 2018, following a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. With five years of experience in lighting design, Tanner has contributed to notable projects such as the amphitheater at Little Island and SUMMIT One Vanderbilt. Additionally, Tanner has served as a part-time instructor at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, teaching digital media software to aspiring architects and designers. Passionate about creating meaningful environments, Tanner draws inspiration from nature and the built environment to enhance the human experience.
