Thanos Diamantopoulos is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in power systems and electrical engineering. Currently serving as an Associate and Lead/Principal Electrical Engineer at Arup since May 2018, Thanos has previously held roles as a Senior Power Systems Consultant at RINA and as a Strategic Network Planning Contractor at Electricity North West. Prior positions also include Power System Analysis Engineer and Substation Design and Protection Engineer at Mott MacDonald, as well as self-employment as a Physics and Maths Teacher. Thanos holds an MSc in Electrical Power Systems from The University of Manchester and an MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
