Todd Thomas, PrEng, MEng, is a civil engineer with a strong background in hydrology, hydraulic analyses, and urban drainage design. Experience includes roles at SANRAL from May 2021 to April 2023, where responsibilities encompassed hydrological assessments and road safety, as well as project management and stakeholder engagement. Prior to SANRAL, Todd worked as an Assistant Resident Engineer at JG Afrika (Pty) Ltd, focusing on construction monitoring and quality control. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Stellenbosch University. Currently, Todd serves as a Water Engineer at Arup, specializing in flood risk management and design advisory.
