Tom Bridges

Tom Bridges is the UK Government and Innovation Leader at Arup, where they lead initiatives to secure government projects and foster innovation across the firm's UK offices. With extensive experience in economic development and urban planning, Tom previously served as Chief Officer for Economy and Regeneration at Leeds City Council, where they played a key role in shaping the city's growth strategy and major infrastructure projects. Tom has also held various leadership positions within Arup since 1999, and they are actively involved in advisory roles for organizations such as Nexus Leeds and The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales. They hold multiple degrees from the University of Bristol and completed the Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Programme at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
