Vera Gkoufa is an architect with diverse experience in architectural and heritage consultancy roles. Starting with a surveying internship at the National Technical University of Athens in 2010, Vera gained subsequent experience as an architectural intern at KORRES, where Vera contributed to the award-winning project “Terra Botanica.” Vera has served as an architect at Jane Jones-Warner Associates and MALCOLM FRYER ARCHITECTS LIMITED, and worked as a church buildings adviser for the London Diocesan Fund. In a consultancy role at Heritage Malta, Vera collaborated with MSc Sustainable Heritage students on environmental reports for museum collections. In 2024, Vera took on the role of Senior Architect - Heritage & Conservation Architecture at Arup. Vera’s educational background includes a Master of Engineering (MEng) from the National Technical University of Athens and a Master of Science (MSc) from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL.
