Veronica Goldsmith

Veronica Goldsmith, PE is a Senior Engineer at Arup since September 2022, where work encompasses semiconductor fabs, data centers, transportation, pharmaceuticals, and energy, emphasizing collaboration across engineering disciplines for holistic risk reduction solutions. Previously, as a Fire Protection Engineer at Jacobs from May 2021 to September 2022, Veronica led fire protection initiatives for semiconductor facilities and managed permitting for energy storage systems on data center projects. Veronica's earlier experience at Arup included supporting risk assessments and designing solutions for unique commodity storage, coupled with a two-year assignment in Dublin, Ireland, focused on global energy storage and transport projects. Veronica began her career as a Graduate Engineer at JENSEN HUGHES, where responsibilities included fire protection consulting, and held internships with NFPA, contributing to database management and technical development for fire safety standards. Veronica holds a Master of Science in Fire Protection Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
