Kathryn Smith

Kathryn Smith has a diverse work experience in various scientific research roles. Starting as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Hofstra University, they moved on to become a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Utah. Kathryn then worked as an Intern at Boise Technology Inc., an Environmental Health Fellow at APHL, an Associate Research Scientist at Tandem Labs, and finally as a Lead Scientist at ARUP Laboratories. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in advanced analytical technologies, research and development, validating new assays, and ensuring analytical integrity.

Kathryn Smith earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from DeSales University in 2005, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from the University of Utah in 2012. Kathryn also obtained additional certifications in Good Clinical Practice and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
