Ryan Nelson

Ryan Nelson has a diverse work experience that spans various fields. Ryan began their career as a Lab Technician/Manager at Utah State University, focusing on genomic engineering projects. Ryan later transitioned to roles in genetics and pharmacotherapy research at companies like Myriad Genetics and Intermountain Radiopharmacy. Ryan also held positions as a U.S. Sales Rep for Furberg Snowboards and as an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida. Currently, they serve as the Medical Director of Precision Medicine at ARUP Laboratories.

Ryan Nelson earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Philosophy, Molecular Biology, and Chemistry from Utah State University in 2007-2012. Subsequently, they completed their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree at the University of Utah School of Pharmacy from 2014 to 2018. Ryan also obtained a Pharmacist certification from Florida Health in 2018 and a BLS certification from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association.
