Arvada Fire
David Mitchell has a diverse work experience in the field of emergency medical services (EMS). David began their career in 2002 at Pridemark Paramedic Services, where they served as the Director of Operations. In 2011, they joined the Arvada Fire Protection District as the EMS Chief, responsible for leading EMS operations in the district. In 2012, they became the President of the International Association of EMS Chiefs (IAEMSC). In 2013, they took on the role of Co-Chair for the Colorado North Central All Hazards Region/UASI EMS Subcommittee for Incident Operations.
David Mitchell's education history begins with him earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental and Populational Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder, which they completed between 1998 and 2002. Following this, they pursued executive education at the Harvard Kennedy School, where they obtained a degree in Senior Leaders in State and Local Government in 2015.
