Arvada Fire
John Simpson has worked as a Battalion Chief at the Arvada Fire Protection District since 2000. Prior to that, they were a Captain at the Rocky Flats Fire Department from 1990 to 2000.
From 1984 to 1988, John Simpson attended Arvada West High School, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting. Additionally, during this same period, they also studied at Red Rocks Community College.

Arvada Fire provides a wide range of emergency response programs including fire suppression, technical rescue, water rescue, hazardous materials, and emergency medical services. The department also provides numerous community risk reduction programs including business inspections, plan review, home safety visits, school programs, community activities and more.
