Alexander Samwer

Alexander Samwer has a diverse and extensive work experience. Alexander is the Founder & Managing Director of Arvantis Group since 2018. Alexander also founded Picus Capital, Pelion Green Future, and Pacifico Energy Partners. In 2014, Alexander Samwer became an Investor & Member of the Supervisory Board at Zalando SE, where they served until June 2020. Before that, they were the Managing Director of European Founders Fund GmbH, where they invested in leading internet and technology companies. Alexander also held roles as a Member of the Management Board at Jamba - A NewsCorp Company and as Managing Director Europe at eBay. Alexander Samwer started their career as the Co-founder & Managing Director of alando.de / eBay Germany.

Alexander Samwer obtained their MA in Economics & Politics from the University of Oxford, completing their studies between 1995 and 1998. Later, they pursued their MBA at Harvard Business School from 2003 to 2005.
