Eric Sjolin has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Eric started their career at Northgate Computers in 1989, where they worked in computer assembly and production until 1991. From 1993 to 1999, they joined Olson Communications as an Editor, Reporter, and Advertising Manager. Following this, Eric worked at Warehouse Computers & Software as a Managing Technician from 1999 to 2001. Eric then established their own business, Rural Rock Computer Services, where they served as the Owner and Technician from 2001 to 2008. In 2008, Eric joined Mills Automotive Group as a Marketing/IT Specialist and remained there until May 2022. Currently, they are employed at Arvig as a Customer Service Representative since July 2022.

Eric Sjolin obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Bemidji State University, where they studied from 1987 to 1992. Additionally, from 1990 to 1991, they attended the National Education Center- Brown Institute, focusing on Electronics and Broadcasting. Eric has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2018, they completed the Ford Digital Marketer Base Certified - Level 2 program offered by Ford Motor Company. In the same year, they also completed the Google Digital Garage's Online Marketing Fundamentals program. Most recently, in 2021, Eric achieved certifications as a Nissan Internet Manager Certified professional from Nissan Motor Corporation and as a GM General Support Certified professional from General Motors.
