Rodrigo Schmidt

Rodrigo Schmidt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and advisory roles. Currently serving as an Advisor at Arvion since July 2025, Rodrigo contributes to advancing security engineering. Previously, as a Board Member at Loggi from February 2017 to March 2025, efforts were directed towards utilizing innovative technology for an efficient logistics network. Rodrigo's notable tenure at Meta included serving as Head of Engineering from November 2021 to June 2023 and as Sr. Director of Engineering at both Facebook AI and Instagram, leading initiatives in areas like creator engagement, discovery, ads, and shopping. Rodrigo holds a PhD in Computer Science from EPFL and an M.S. in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual de Campinas.
