Derrick Okull is currently the NA Technical Service & Development Lead for Paints & Coatings at Arxada, a position held since 2023. Previously, they served as a Technical Service Manager at International Flavors & Fragrances (2021-2023) and Dupont Industrial BioSciences (2012-2021), where they provided technical leadership and account management while troubleshooting product issues. Derrick also worked as a Senior Scientist in Product Development at The Clorox Company (2011-2012) and as a Research Scientist/Microbiologist at Dupont (2005-2011), where they were a lead inventor for an antimicrobial application in ethanol fermentation. Derrick earned a PhD in Food Science from Penn State University (2000-2005) and a BSc in Food Science from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (1994-1997).
