Carlie Parrish has had four work experiences since 2017. Carlie began their career as an Auditorium Technician at Lincoln-Way East High School in 2017. In 2018, they worked as an Office Assistant at Connect America, a Calculus 3 Grader at Colorado School of Mines, and a Laboratory Assistant at Colorado School of Mines. In 2022, they began their current role as an Associate Engineer 1 and Associate Scientist 1 at Arzeda.

Carlie Parrish completed their high school diploma at Lincoln-Way East High School in 2018. Carlie then went on to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering with a focus in Biology, General at the Colorado School of Mines, graduating in 2021. In addition to their degree, they have obtained five certificates from the AIChE - American Institute of Chemical Engineers, including the SAChE Certificate Program: Understanding Hazards and Risks, SAChE Certificate Program: Hazard Recognition, SAChE Certificate Program: Identifying and Minimizing Process Safety Hazards, SAChE Human Factors, and a Seal of Biliteracy- Spanish & English from Lincoln-Way East High School.
