Jacob Bale

Jacob Bale has a diverse work experience in the field of protein design and research. Jacob started their career as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Queitsch Lab at the University of Washington Department of Genome Sciences. Jacob then worked as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Doty Lab at the University of Washington School of Forest Resources.

Jacob continued their education and joined the University of Washington as an MCB Graduate Student. During this time, they also worked as a Lab Technician in the Queitsch Lab at the University of Washington Department of Genome Sciences.

After completing their Master's degree, Jacob became a PhD student in the Molecular and Cellular Biology program at the University of Washington. Jacob joined the Baker Lab in the UW Department of Biochemistry and focused on developing computer software for protein structure prediction and design.
