Matthew Ferguson

Matthew Ferguson has a long and varied work experience. Matthew began their career in 2004 as a Computer Support Specialist 3 at the University of Washington. Matthew then went on to become a Graduate Research Assistant and Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the same institution. In 2012, they co-founded and became CEO of LodeSpin Labs. In 2016, they joined Xinova, LLC as Vice President of the Innovation Group and Assistant VP, where they worked with inventors to develop new technologies. In 2021, they became Vice President of Innovation Services at Rhizome Network. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a Project Manager at Arzeda.

Matthew Ferguson has a diverse educational background. Matthew obtained a Certificate in Technology Entrepreneurship from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business in 2011. Prior to that, they earned a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Washington between 2006 and 2011. Matthew also holds a BA in Physics, which they earned from Pomona College between 1999 and 2003.
