Gerald Rust holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Stellenbosch University and has extensive experience in manufacturing and process improvement across multiple companies. Currently serving as Lean Manager at Asahi Beverages since April 2020, Gerald previously worked at Adient as a Continuous Improvement Manager, focusing on profit improvement initiatives. At Futuris Automotive, Gerald held multiple roles including Technical Manager, where responsibilities involved team expansion and the launch of significant vehicle models, and Engineering Manager, overseeing new product processes. Additional experience includes project coordination at Faurecia and various engineering positions where Gerald contributed to production efficiencies and quality improvements. Gerald also possesses diplomas in Training and Assessment, Project Management, and Business Administration, along with a certificate in Lean Manufacturing.
