Murray Smith

Murray Smith is an experienced manufacturing professional with a diverse background spanning multiple industries. Since April 2015, Murray has served as a Manufacturing Supervisor at Asahi Beverages, focusing on maintaining continuous compression and injection molding processes within the plastics manufacturing division. Previous experience includes a brief tenure as a Production Casual at Mars in early 2015, and over 32 years at DSIH, where Murray held various roles including Skilled Mechanical Engineer, Project Manager, and Supplier Relations Expert. An early foundation in mechanical engineering was established through an apprenticeship at BorgWarner Inc., followed by relevant roles in plant services and engineering. Murray holds an Associate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Wodonga Institute of TAFE, completed between 1986 and 1992.
