Deric Rust

Deric Rust has diverse work experience in the precious materials industry. Deric is currently serving as the Director of Operations at Asahi Refining since April 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant at Precious Materials Consulting starting from July 2017. From October 2018 to October 2019, they held the position of Blending Department Manager at Henkel. Deric also has previous experience with Asahi Refining, where they served as the Technical Director for North America from March 2016 to August 2017. Before that, they worked at Johnson Matthey in various roles, including Site Manager from February 2014 to April 2016, Operations Manager from September 2011 to January 2014, Technical Manager from an unknown start date to September 2011, and Laboratory Supervisor/Chemist from an unknown start date to 2006.

Deric Rust holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Executive from the University of Utah, which they completed in 2013. Prior to that, in 2002, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry from Weber State University. In August 2021, Deric Rust also obtained a certification in Written and Verbal Communication from LinkedIn.
