Danielle James has extensive experience in talent acquisition, diversity, and strategic marketing, currently serving as the Talent Acquisition Operations & Strategy Lead at Asana since December 2021. In this role, Danielle has successfully developed initiatives that significantly increased candidate engagement and hiring metrics, including launching the company's first talent community and optimizing the employee referral program. Prior to Asana, Danielle held various positions at MongoDB, focusing on diversity and inclusion initiatives that strengthened the talent pipeline and raised awareness of inclusive hiring practices. Additionally, Danielle contributes to Baruch College's Dean's Advisory Council for the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences and serves on the advisory board for CUNY Tech Prep, while also pursuing a writing career with the upcoming release of "Return to the Place I Never Left." Danielle holds an MFA in Creative Writing from St. Joseph's University and a BA in English from Baruch College.
