Chris Samuelson

Chris Samuelson is a Solutions Architect at ASB Bank since April 2021, with extensive experience in solution architecture and database engineering. Previously, Chris spent 13 years at Credit Suisse, transitioning from Engineering to Solutions Architecture while focusing on database and storage transformations, particularly within Azure. Earlier roles include Project & Production DBA at Reuters and Project & Production Team Lead at Clifford Chance, managing a team of 11 DBA's for a global legal solution. Chris also held a Senior Manager position at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, leading Oracle DBA competencies across global ERP implementations, and began a career at Oracle, where responsibilities ranged from junior DBA to Technical Team Leader across various consulting projects. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Otago.
