The ASC master is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree ( EMJMD ). It is a prestigious, integrated, international study programme, jointly delivered by an international consortium of higher education institutions.

Five different Universities are partners in the ASC Master: 
- The University of Lille (France)
- The Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna (Italy)
- The Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Poland)
- The University of Helsinki (Finland)
- Leipzig University (Germany)

The ASC EMJMD is a two-year (120 credist) programme providing students with a cross-cultural education and expertise in state of the art spectroscopic techniques in a broad range of modern chemistry applications.
