Michael Smith

Michael Smith is an experienced professional in industry capability development and management, currently serving as the Industry Capability Development Manager for SSN-AUKUS at ASC Pty Ltd since February 2022. Previously, Michael held various roles including Australian Industry Capability Manager and Lead at ASC Pty Ltd, as well as serving as a Board Member for the Australian Industry & Defence Network from November 2019 to June 2023. Michael's career also includes experience as Industry Capability Lead at Naval Group Australia, and roles at A Noble and Sons Ltd where responsibilities included SA Sales & National Defence Manager and Technical Sales Representative. Earlier roles included Commercial Account Manager at Fuchs Lubricants (Australasia). Michael holds a Professional Management Program from the University of Adelaide, a Diploma of Marketing from TAFE SA, and has completed Mechanical Engineering Studies at TAFE SA.
