Tim Kang

Tim Kang is a skilled cinematographer and imaging specialist with extensive experience in narrative films, documentaries, and commercial projects. They have served as a cinematography fellow and teaching assistant at the American Film Institute and have worked as a principal engineer at Aputure, focusing on color engine and imaging standards development. With a background in microscopy and image analysis, Tim has contributed to various research projects at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and been an integral part of the American Society of Cinematographers as the Lighting Committee Chair. Tim has also provided educational programs and technical support, bridging the gap between cinematic artistry and scientific imaging techniques.
