Dewayne Ector

Dewayne Ector currently serves as Vice President of International Affairs at ASCAP since February 2024 and is an Advisory Board Member at EarthPercent and Big Creative Education. Previously, Dewayne worked as an Independent Consultant for IMPEL Collective Management Limited and Downtown Music Holdings, where responsibilities included overseeing revenue from digital licenses and managing various roles related to partner relations and income tracking. Notably, Dewayne held key positions at AMRA Music and PRS for Music, focusing on maximizing revenue for members across North America, the Caribbean, and Africa, as well as researching and developing licensing opportunities. Dewayne began a career in sound engineering and production, culminating in an LLB (Honors) in Law from Birkbeck, University of London.
