Wordsmith

Wordsmith (Anthony Parker) is a distinguished playwright and director at the Baltimore School for the Arts since January 2025, specializing in historical scene projects for student actors. As President of Rise With a Purpose since July 2020, Wordsmith focuses on assisting low-income individuals and underserved communities, promoting social reform and music education. Involvement with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra as an Artistic Partner, alongside roles in music licensing for APM Music, Songtradr, and The Walt Disney Company, underscores a commitment to artistic innovation. Wordsmith also serves as a Grammy Voting Member for the Recording Academy and operates record labels under Virgin Music Group and UnitedMasters. Additional contributions to ASCAP as a writer and publisher further highlight Wordsmith's extensive experience in the music industry, complemented by educational credentials in Performing Arts and Mass Communication.
