Alexandra B.

Alexandra B. is a Software Engineer who currently works at Ascend Analytics since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineering Specialist at the Texas Water Development Board from August 2020 to August 2022. In this role, they were a member of the Flood Modeling Team and developed 2D approximate flood models using HEC-RAS software. Alexandra also created custom programs for data analysis and automation using Python and R. Before that, they were a Research Assistant at the Natural Capital Project from February 2020 to July 2020. Alexandra also has experience as a Teaching Assistant at Stanford University from September 2018 to December 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Solar & Sustainability Intern at Hanover Page Mill Associates, LP from June 2019 to September 2019, where they analyzed building energy use, debugged issues with the building management software, and designed an interactive display for presentation purposes.
