Andrew Rietz

Andrew Rietz has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and industries. Andrew is currently a Team Lead and Software Engineer at Ascend Analytics since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Analytics Software Engineer at the same company from May 2021 to December 2021.

Before joining Ascend Analytics, Andrew worked at The Cadmus Group, where they held various roles. Andrew was a Senior Associate from January 2021 to April 2021, an Associate from May 2016 to January 2021, a Senior Analyst from May 2015 to April 2016, and an Analyst from June 2013 to April 2015. In these positions, they managed diverse project teams, developed creative solutions, and specialized in efficiency engineering related to EM&V in the residential sector. Andrew'swork involved data analysis, report writing, and the development of new ways to manipulate and visualize large sets of data.

Prior to their time at The Cadmus Group, Andrew worked as a Research Assistant at Rochester Institute of Technology from November 2011 to May 2013. Andrew also gained engineering experience as an Engineering Co-op at Larsen Engineers in June 2011 to August 2011.

Andrew's early work experience includes being a Lifeguard and Junior Lifeguard Instructor at East Bay Regional Park District from June 2008 to August 2010.

Andrew Rietz attended the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2013, where they earned two Bachelor of Science degrees. The first degree was in Mechanical Engineering and the second degree was in Civil Engineering Technology. In addition to their degrees, Andrew obtained two certifications. In 2015, they received the Energy Manager in Training (EMIT) certification from the Association of Energy Engineers. Then, in 2016, they obtained the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification from the same institution.
