Dan Burak

Dan Burak is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in brand strategy, product marketing, and communications across various industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Marketing at Ascend Analytics since July 2024, Dan is responsible for the full cycle of marketing for the software analytics company focused on clean energy transition. Prior to this, Dan founded Cartoon Cactus, LLC in August 2020, specializing in enhancing brand voice and marketing effectiveness. Dan held senior roles at Uplight, Sterling-Rice Group, Greenhouse Partners, 3Com Corporation, US Robotics, and Montgomery Ward, contributing to brand development and strategic initiatives for notable clients, including cleantech and consumer product companies. Dan holds a BS in Psychology and Economics from Dartmouth College.
