Elaine K. has a diverse work experience in various industries. Elaine currently works as an Energy Analyst at Ascend Analytics since April 2023. Previously, they served as an Independent Consultant to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) from September 2022 to March 2023. Before that, they worked as a Post-Undergraduate at NREL from November 2021 to August 2022.

Elaine also gained research experience during their time at the University of Rochester. Elaine worked as an Undergraduate History Research Assistant from January 2021 to May 2021. Additionally, they conducted cobalt-based and iron-based inorganic chemistry research as an Undergraduate Chemistry Student Researcher at the Neidig Lab. Their research resulted in the successful synthesis of a novel iron (IV) square-planar complex, and they produced a senior thesis based on their analysis of experimental data and published literature. Elaine also worked as an Organic Chemistry II Workshop Leader from January 2020 to May 2020.

Furthermore, Elaine served as a Legal Intern at the Monroe County Office of the District Attorney from September 2019 to December 2019. With their varied experiences, Elaine has developed expertise in energy analysis, research, chemistry, and legal work.
