Scott Nicholson

Scott Nicholson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Scott is currently working as a Senior Energy Analyst at Ascend Analytics since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, where they held various roles including Researcher III - Chemical Engineering from April 2021 to May 2022, Engineer II - Chemical Engineering from July 2019 to April 2021, Engineer I - Chemical Engineering from April 2016 to July 2019, and Industrial Energy Analysis Intern from June 2015 to April 2016. Before joining the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Scott briefly worked at Biogen as a Manufacturing Sciences Data Coordinator from May 2014 to August 2014. Scott also gained experience as a Science Dept. Summer Intern at Educational Testing Service (ETS) in July 2013 and as a Summer Research Program Research Assistant at Monmouth University from May 2013 to June 2013.

Scott Nicholson attended Tufts University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. During their time at Tufts, they also pursued a minor in Economics. After completing their undergraduate studies, they went on to attend the Colorado School of Mines from 2016 to 2019. At this institution, Scott obtained a Master's degree in Mineral and Energy Economics.
