Travis Yee

Travis Yee has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Travis is currently working at Ascend Analytics as a Commercial Relationship Manager since June 2022. Previously, they held the position of Renewable Energy Analyst at the same company from July 2021 to February 2023.

Before joining Ascend Analytics, Travis worked as an Equity Options and Futures Trader for Self Investor since May 2014. In this role, they traded options using various strategies and also engaged in futures trading in markets such as crude oil, natural gas, soybeans, gold, bonds, S&P, and Nasdaq.

From April 2016 to January 2019, Travis was a Natural Gas Trader & Scheduler at Jonah Energy LLC. Prior to that, they worked at the Colorado Oil and Gas Association as a Research Analyst from November 2010 to June 2014. Their responsibilities in this role included studying and communicating the various processes and aspects of the oil and gas industry to the general public and legislators.

Travis also has experience as a Research/Teacher Assistant at the Colorado School of Mines from December 2008 to December 2009, and as a Research Assistant from September 2005 to December 2007, indicating their involvement in academic research.

Travis Yee began their education in 2005 at Colorado School of Mines, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business. Travis successfully completed this program in 2008. Following their undergraduate studies, Travis furthered their education by enrolling in the Colorado School of Mines once again in 2008. This time, they pursued a Master's degree in the International Political Economy of Resources. Travis completed this program in 2009.
