Barbara Knight

Barbara Knight is the Chief Administrative Officer at Ascend Elements, where they oversee marketing, communications, and human resources. With over twenty-five years of experience in communications, they have worked across various international settings, from Houston to Dubai. Barbara began their career at FleishmanHillard and later served as Deputy Press Secretary to First Lady Laura Bush at The White House, coordinating media coverage globally. They have also held leadership roles at Condé Nast and McDermott International, receiving multiple awards for outstanding contributions to communications and crisis management. Currently, Barbara is furthering their education at The University of Texas at Austin and the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.
