Bob Amici

Bob Amici is an experienced intellectual property professional currently serving as the Intellectual Property Manager at Ascend Elements since July 2022. Previously, Bob held the position of IP Portfolio Manager at Entegris from December 2017 to August 2025 and was the Intellectual Property Manager at GT Advanced Technologies from February 2010 to August 2025, where responsibilities included managing and expanding the patent portfolio, collaborating on invention disclosures, and overseeing patent prosecution. Bob also worked as a Patent Agent at PIB Law and Finch & Maloney PLLC, and contributed to Cabot Corporation as a Patent Agent from January 2003 to February 2010, providing technical and IP support across various business segments. Bob earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from Yale University and a bachelor's degree from the College of the Holy Cross.
