Michael Pelsozy

Michael Pelsozy has over 15 years of experience in engineering and management roles. Michael is currently the Senior Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering at Ascend Elements. Previously, they held the position of Global Director of Engineering at Bayer, where they led engineering and facilities for two pharmaceutical product supply sites on two continents. Before that, they were the Engineering and Investment Director at MBCC Group (formerly BASF Construction Chemicals), where they oversaw engineering and capital investment for multiple plants, distribution centers, and R&D operations in the Americas region. Prior to that, they worked at BASF in various roles, including Investment and Engineering Management, Engineering Services and Investments Management, and Senior Development Engineer & Technology Manager & Site Manager. Their early career included a role as a Post Doctoral Fellow at NASA Glenn Research Center, where they conducted research on power system components for space power applications.

Michael Pelsozy holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. Michael also has a certification in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Air Academy Associates.
