Shivani Adhikari

Shivani Adhikari is currently a Research Scientist at Ascend Elements, having joined the company in July 2023. Prior to this role, Shivani served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Oregon State University from June 2021 to July 2023. Earlier experience includes a Master Thesis at the Institute of Chemical Technology in 2019, focusing on methyl esterification of oxygenated compounds and catalyst preparation and characterization. In addition, Shivani worked as a Graduate Student at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, synthesizing and characterizing doped and undoped La2Zr2O7. Initial research experience includes working on solid state chemistry applications in clean energy at Ramnarain Ruia College and computational chemistry during undergraduate studies at the Institute of Chemical Technology. Shivani holds a Master of Science in Inorganic Chemistry from Oregon State University and a Master of Science in Physical Chemistry from KJ Somaiya College of Engineering, along with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Ramnarain Ruia College.
