Ada Woo

Ada Woo has extensive experience in leadership roles within the education and assessment sectors, specifically focused on innovative learning and psychometrics. At Ascend Learning, Ada served as Vice President of Innovative Learning and Assessment Solutions and Chief of Staff and Senior Director for the Assessment Sciences Unit, driving strategic initiatives and the development of assessment products for healthcare professions. Prior experience includes roles at the University of Iowa as an Adjunct Associate Professor, and at ACTNext as Senior Director of Strategy Implementation and Operations, where Ada managed operations and strategic planning. Earlier positions at the National Council of State Boards of Nursing involved advancing examination programs and overseeing psychometric functions, while Ada also contributed to testing programs at the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy. Ada holds a Ph.D. in Quantitative Psychology from The University of Texas at Arlington and completed a Mini-MBA program at Loyola University Chicago.
