Eika Johnson is an experienced educator and founder currently involved with STEAM Street, LLC, focusing on providing STEM/STEAM educational opportunities for underserved communities. In addition to this role, Eika serves as a Nursing Instructor at Ascend Learning, supporting pre-nursing students in their educational pursuits. Previous positions include STEAM Program Coordinator at Dallas ISD, MakerSpace/PLTW Instructor at The STEAM Academy @ Duncanville ISD, and Robotic Manufacturing Teacher at Irving Independent School District. Eika also contributed to curriculum development as the Curriculum Lead for Black Girls CODE. Eika holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from the American College of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry from Texas Southern University.
