Krista Brooks

Krista Brooks, CPA, is an Internal Audit Manager at Ascend Learning, bringing extensive experience in internal audit, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and project management. Previously, Krista held positions as a Senior Associate and Associate in Advisory at KPMG, where they received the Chairman’s Award for High Performance twice. Krista earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Accountancy from Missouri State University, where they also served as a Graduate Assistant. They began their career with internships at KPMG and O'Reilly Auto Parts, gaining foundational skills in finance and accounting.
