Lorie Hacker DNP, MSNed, NP-C, RN, CNE is an experienced nurse practitioner and academic leader with a diverse background in nursing education and palliative care. Currently serving as the Director of Graduate Nursing and Accreditation Consulting at Ascend Learning, Lorie has held various roles including Nursing Faculty at Touro University Nevada and Assistant Professor at Marian University Indianapolis. Past experiences include facilitating RN-BSN courses at Indiana Wesleyan University, teaching as an Associate Professor at Ivy Tech Community College, and providing palliative care as a nurse practitioner at multiple organizations. Lorie holds advanced degrees in nursing, including a Doctor of Nursing Practice with a focus on leadership and a Post Master's in Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.
