Paul Stein

Paul Stein serves as the Vice President, CIO, and CISO at Ascend Learning, where they oversee day-to-day technical operations and ensure compliance with security and privacy standards. With over 15 years of executive experience, Paul has built talented teams and implemented innovative strategies across various roles, including Director of Datacenter and Information Systems at Gentiva Health Services and Manager of Web Development at Olsten Kimberly Quality Care. They began their career as a Psychological Warfare Specialist in the United States Army Reserve and have since gained expertise in IT strategy, enterprise information security, and compliance practices. Paul is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
