Tyson Schmidt

Tyson Schmidt currently serves as Vice President of Customer Operations at Ascend Learning, a position held since April 2021, following roles as Senior Director of Customer Operations and Senior Director of Contact Center. Prior to this, Tyson held the position of Director of Operations at the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) from December 2010 to April 2021, leading advocacy and education efforts for healthcare professionals. Tyson also has experience as Director of Logistics and Production & Distribution Manager at Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI), where involvement in post-merger integration and logistics management was significant. Earlier career experiences include serving as Fitness Coordinator and Operations Coordinator at Corporate Fitness Works / Sprint. Tyson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Health Promotion from Emporia State University and has further training from the Center for Creative Leadership and Johnson County Community College.
