Chris Mui

Chris Mui is an Art Director at Ascender Studios. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Specialist, Web Content Management, and Online Education at Canon USA from November 2015 to May 2020. During their time at Canon USA, they were responsible for maintaining the online education hub on Canon USA’s corporate website, including article and video content, interactive camera simulators, as well as technical white papers.

Chris was also involved in the full content development cycle, from planning to marketing. Chris worked closely with members of the social media department to plan and execute the marketing and social media strategies for each piece of content, in order to provide the most exposure and awareness.

Chris was integral to the launch of premium online learning classes for Canon’s e-commerce website. Chris launched 13 classes on Canon’s new Paid Online Learning educational hub, which provides more robust learning modules and a premium educational experience for customers new to photography or wanting to improve upon their skills. Each class includes video content, interactive modules, as well as PDF guides and discussion boards to give learners a complete educational package.

Chris also trained customer service reps on the new Learning Management System in order to help them provide the best customer service support for new or returning learners. Chris created custom roles within the LMS, providing customized access to allow them the proper tools for their specific needs.

Lastly, Chris provided tradeshow and event support, giving customers education and technical assistance on various products in Canon’s lineup.

Chris Mui earned a B.S. in Electronic Media, Arts and Communication from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. They also have a certification from CIW in Certified Internet Webmaster.

Chris Mui reports to Mike Aldinger, Co-Founder. They are on a team with Samantha Omoletski - Finance Director, Zack Goehner - Creative Director, and Joseph Yenish - Managing Director & Partner.
