Scott Kelson

Project Director at Ascender Studios

Scott Kelson is the current Project Director at Ascender Studios. Prior to this, they were with Havas Life New York as Vice President, Account Group Supervisor from February 2010 to May 2016. There, they developed and implemented direct-to-patient branded and unbranded campaigns for GARDASIL, which included building digital presence, in-office materials and advertorial print series, on-campus marketing efforts, and social networking strategies. Scott was also responsible for strategic planning, APLB submission, and project development of the branded GARDASIL Web site to coincide with the forthcoming male indication launch; this also included the integrated development of offline direct-to-patient collateral and coordination with agency partners to ensure that brand objectives were in synch.

From February 2005 to December 2009, Scott Kelson worked as Account Supervisor at Rapp. There, they collaborated with Consumer Business Insights team and client marketing analytic leads to develop robust reporting packages that track, analyze, and help refine campaigns. Scott also managed $4MM+ agency fee and out-of-pocket budgets; organically grew 2009 scope of work by ~$250K. Furthermore, they supervised the development and launch of two ZOSTAVAX Web sites - unbranded disease education and branded counterpart - to coincide with the launch of integrated online/offline direct-to-consumer and direct-to-patient campaigns within in-office, in-pharmacy, senior centers, and interactive environments.

Scott Kelson received their Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the University at Albany, State University of New York. Scott also attended John F. Kennedy High School in Bellmore.

They work with Thu Nguyen - Art Director, Zack Goehner - Creative Director, and Paul Sekerka - Project Director. Some direct reports include Becky Ayalla - Project Manager, Terrisa Lindo - Project Coordinator. Scott Kelson reports to Mike Aldinger, Co-Founder.
