Backend Engineer at Ascendify

Erik Worth has been working in the tech industry since 2013, when they began as a Backend Engineer at Ascendify. Erik then moved to a Jr. Backend Engineer role before taking on a QA Engineer position and then a QA intern role. In 2012, they worked as a Mission Monitor for the UC Santa Cruz/BARREL Project, where they monitored live data from scientific balloons above Antarctica in order to help study Earth's radiation belts. Erik also tracked many balloon parameters and notified duty scientists if problems were identified, and looked for interesting x-ray activity associated with electron precipitation. Prior to that, in 2006, they worked as a Salesfloor Team Member at Target, providing customer service, cashiering, stocking shelves and ensuring product was faced properly. Erik also assisted managers with projects on the salesfloor.

Erik Worth attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a degree in Applied Physics. Erik's field of study included Physics, computer programming, and electrical engineering.
