Susannah Parnin Mitchell has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Susannah has worked in key positions at various organizations, demonstrating their skills in operations, project management, and event planning.

Starting in 2006, Susannah worked as a Designer and Gallery Assistant/Designer at the Torpedo Factory Art Center, where they provided administrative assistance, designed visual promotions, and helped organize art exhibitions. Susannah also served as an Intern at the Smithsonian Institute, contributing to the Nanette N. Laitman Documentation Project.

In 2007, they established herself as a Gallery Director at Art Whino Gallery, leading operations and earning recognition for the gallery's success. Susannah concurrently served on the Board of Directors for the Old Town Business & Professionals Association, managing monthly events and revitalizing the City of Alexandria's Art Night.

Moving on, Susannah worked as a Research Assistant at the University of New Hampshire, contributing to a project on leader emergence. Susannah then joined The Atom Group as a Project Manager, fostering relationships with clients and managing website and app development.

From 2014 to 2017, Susannah held multiple roles at the Washington Avenue Arts District and Silver Street Studios/Sawyer Yards Creative Campus. As Director of the Washington Avenue Arts District, they led the development of a vibrant cultural district in Houston. Simultaneously, as the Manager of Events and Exhibitions at Silver Street Studios/Sawyer Yards Creative Campus, they oversaw programming, event rentals, and exhibition management.

Currently, Susannah is working at Ascendle as a Vice President of Operations. Susannah has also served as an Agile Consultant, assisting clients with software builds and product strategy. Susannah has been actively involved in process creation, strategic initiatives, and ensuring alignment across departments.

Throughout their career, Susannah has demonstrated their ability to adapt to various roles and industries, consistently contributing to the success of organizations through their leadership, project management, and creative abilities.

Susannah Parnin Mitchell completed their Bachelor of Arts degree at North Carolina State University from 2001 to 2006, with a focus on Multidisciplinary Studies in Political Theory and the Interpretation of Art Literature. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Design at North Carolina State University, specializing in Art and Design. Later, in 2010-2011, Susannah pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics.
