Bertan Ilbak

Bertan Ilbak is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and corporate finance. Currently serving as Co-Founder at AscendX since July 2023, Bertan previously held the position of Principal at Mediterra Capital Private Equity from June 2017 to July 2023. Prior roles include Corporate Finance Manager at Koç Holding A.Ş., Vice President M&A at ÜNLÜ & Co, and Equity Research Analyst at Global Securities. Bertan's educational background includes a Master of Science in Operations Research from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Boğaziçi University, complemented by a strong foundational education in Mathematics and Physics from Istanbul Erkek Lisesi.
